Projects: Perhypex: Guest

This project involved the creation of a complete guestbook service.

I decided to create a guestbook service to further develop my skills with PHP and MySQL. The service now has many of the features that paid services offer and every now and again I add something new.

Target browsers:

I wanted the site to look and perform the same in as many browsers as possibile. This in itself can be quite a challenge, Internet Explorer 6 presenting the biggest of them all. Eventually I got everything looking and working the same in the browsers below, which I consider the main targets but by no means the only. I also carried out some testing in Safari. A lot of the other, lesser know browsers use the Gecko rendering engine (used in Firefox) or the Internet Explorer one, so a lot of the others are taken care of too, without direct testing.
